The Cisco Catalyst WS-C3560CG-8PC-S is a compact Layer 3 managed Gigabit Ethernet PoE+ switch designed for enterprise branch offices, retail stores, classrooms, hospitality, and other space-constrained deployments. It features 8 Gigabit Ethernet PoE+ access ports and 2 dual-purpose Gigabit uplink interfaces (each interface supports either 1G RJ-45 copper or 1G SFP fiber). The switch runs the Cisco IOS IP Base feature set and supports advanced Layer 2 and Layer 3 services, including static routing, RIP, QoS, VLANs, IPv6, and enterprise-class security. It also supports MACsec hardware encryption for secure network access.
